  • Step 1

    Interview & Return Contract

Start today! Sign up to interview with Interstaff and if you are selected to work with us, you will receive an agreement for you to review and return.

  • Step 2

    CGFNS CES Report

(1-3 months) Almost all foreign nurses will need a CES report to validate their nursing school credentials. This will require transcripts and license verification; the timeline on submitting these items is one of the few things you can control in regards to the length of your overall process.

  • Step 3

    State Board Application

(2 weeks) After we help you navigate through the CES report, it's time for us to get your State Board application turned in.

  • Step 4

    Review for NCLEX

(3 months) While we wait for your CES report to be issued, we will pay for you to complete an NCLEX review which will prepare you to pass the test on your first attempt.

  • Step 5

Pass NCLEX and collect immigration documents

(1-2 months) You CAN and you WILL pass the NCLEX, and after doing that, we'll immediately begin collecting the necessary documents to submit you into immigration.

  • Step 6

Petition and await results for EB-3 Visa

(Depends on the country) If you are from a current ('C' on visa bulletin) country, we will file your petition as premium which means we will have a result on your petition within 10-12 business days. Otherwise we cannot estimate when we will receive the result.

  • Step 7

National Visa Center and Visa Screen

(8-9 months) After you are approved, we get straight to work on your behalf by paying your fee bill and collecting any other required documents.

  • Step 8

    Embassy Interview and Pre-Deployment

(30-45 days) After your NVC is complete, you can expect for your Embassy interview to be scheduled shortly after that. During this stage, we will begin booking your flight and getting you acquainted with the exciting changes and challenges that await you in the U.S.

  • Step 9

    Deploy to the U.S.

We will pick you up from the airport, have your housing all ready and set up for you and work to get you settled into your new surroundings and onboarded with Interstaff.

  • Step 10

    Your first day of work!

After any necessary compliance and licensing issues are completed, you will be cleared to begin orientation at your new hospital...at this point, you have made it and are set to begin your new journey!
