F-1 Student Visa Program

Our U.S. Nursing Student (F-1) Visa Program seeks international nursing students who are recent or soon-to-be graduates from U.S. nursing programs and are currently in the United States on the F-1 Student Visa. We offer full visa sponsorship, guidance through the adjustment of status process, a relocation package, guaranteed job placement, clinical support, and more! 

Interested candidates should currently be studying in a U.S. nursing program or a recent graduate with OPT eligibility and ready to launch their nursing career. Through collaboration with our partner hospitals, we will ensure you start your career in a supportive environment with experience training and onboarding new-grad nurses.

Step 1

Step 1: Interview

Once you sign up and pre-qualify for our OPT program, we will schedule an interview to get to know each other and ensure we’re a good fit for each other!

Step 2

Step 2: Return Contract

After your interview, we will send you a contract to review, sign, and return. We will be available to answer any questions you have about this document or the process.

Step 3

Step 3: Relocation to your new city

We will pay for your travel expenses (among other relocation package perks) and have one of our Employee Services Coordinators meet you in your new city to help you get settled and ready to start work.

Step 4

Step 4: Meet one-on-one with our immigration specialist

All Interstaff OPT nurses will have an opportunity to meet with our immigration team to discuss the next steps in the adjustment of status process from your F1 Visa to EB3.

Step 5

Step 5: Start Work

Once you have relocated to your new city, been licensed, and cleared by compliance to start - you will begin your first full-time job as a Registered Nurse!

Step 6

Step 6: Finish your contract and leave with your Green Card

By the time you fulfill your contract, the adjustment of status process will be complete, and you will move on to the next chapter of your career with multiple years of RN experience in the U.S., your Green Card (permanent resident status), and as part the Interstaff Alumni network!
