Frequently Asked Questions (Part I)

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Do I have to have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)?
No, you do not. We also accept Diplomas of Nursing.

Does my nursing license need to be active in order to apply?
Yes, you must have an active nursing license in order to apply with Interstaff. An updated resume is required as well.

Do I have to pass the NCLEX & IELTS before applying?
No. Though you need to pass both exams during the process, you do not have to pass them before applying with Interstaff.

Do I have to be currently working in a hospital?
Yes. Candidates must be employed full-time in a tertiary hospital setting.

THE PROCESS:

How long does the process take?
The overall process typically takes between 18-24 months.

Do you ever file nurses as Premium Processing?
Yes, nurses who have passed the NCLEX and IELTS, and are current, would qualify for premium processing. The timeframe for premium processing is 9-12 months.

Will my family be able to travel with me to the U.S.?
Yes! Your spouse and any children under the age of 21 may travel with you to the United States. There also isn’t a waiting period—they can deploy alongside you.

Do I have to pay anything back after the agreement is complete?
No, we do not require any money to be paid after our agreement has ended.
