A: The NCLEX-RN is the nurse licensure exam that all registered nurses who wish to practice nursing in the U.S. must pass.
The NCLEX-RN exam is administered by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) and is a computer-based exam, designed to test the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential to the safe and effective practice of nursing in the U.S.

Q: Do I have to take any English exams?
With some exceptions, if you were educated outside of the United States, you will need to pass one or more English language proficiency exams to meet the requirements to work in the U.S.
We generally recommend that our nurses sit the IELTS exam; however, each candidate is different and your needs may be better met by taking a different exam. Our staff of language specialists is available to evaluate each nurse and will determine which test is right for you.
